2 Seater Sofas: Buying Online or Offline

The great thing about the Internet is that it has opened a lot of doors for everyone. These days even home-builders can go online and buy the stuff they need to complete their living rooms, bathrooms, garages or even their cars. These days it is not unusual for people to prefer buying furniture online instead of going out to the neighborhood furniture shop. This article discusses the relative advantages and disadvantages of doing so.
A friend of mine recently moved into his newly built place and is now in the process of putting together a nice plan to maximize the limited space of his condo. He plans to do it without sacrificing comfort and style. He believes that style and comfort can always go hand in hand.
One critical element to his plan is how he can put together a living space that is functional yet still something he would always love to go home to. He hates clutter and his place, being small, it has higher chances of falling into that clutter trap that small spaces are prone to.
One of the most important buying decision is the decision on what sofa set to get for his compact living room. While he has decided on getting a 2 seater sofa, he simply did not have a lot of time to spend going around different furniture shops to look for great 2 seater sofas because he had a busy professional career that required around 12 hours of work every day.
Hence, he went online to shop. On initial search, he already found thousands of potential online furniture shops. The varieties they offer are even more. But he figured that he just needed to know what he wants by putting together a pre-buying checklist where he list down all the characteristics he wanted in a living room sofa and looked for them in some of the top online stores. He simply went for the store with the best price and the best customer service feedback and bought.
After a few days of ordering, he received his 2 seater leather sofa which fit perfectly in the space he allotted for it (he went for the online store that offered the “Design Your Own Sofa” option). One disadvantage he realized with buying furniture online is that if you found some defect in the sofa after delivery, you will have no choice have to send it back for replacement; and that will probably take more time which defeats the purpose of buying online to save a bit of time.
